Charli XCX Shows support for Addison Rae’s Surprise London Show

Charli XCX and her fiancé, George Daniel, were spotted at The Box in London on Tuesday, enthusiastically supporting Addison Rae’s surprise performance. The “Brat” star, 32, and The 1975 drummer, 34, joined the excited crowd in singing along at the intimate Soho show, demonstrating their support for the rising pop artist Addison Rae.
Charli XCX shared a clip on Instagram Stories of the 24-year-old Addison Rae energetically dancing on stage. She captioned it with: ‘@addisonraee yesssssss!!!’ Addison Rae, clad in a yellow silk bra and underwear set, delivered a sultry performance with female backing dancers. Her seven-song set included tracks like “Fame is a Gun,” “High Fashion,” and “Diet Pepsi,” showcasing her new album, Addison.

Charli XCX and Addison Rae’s friendship extends beyond the audience. The two singers have collaborated on several music projects. charli XCX first appeared on Addison Rae’s track “2 Die 4” in August 2023. Addison Rae later joined A. G.Cook on the remix of Charli XCX’s song “Von Dutch” and also featured on A. G.’s “Lucifer.”
Addison Rae discussed her friendship with Charli XCX,noting that their collaboration on the “Von Dutch” remix was her “first ’aha’ moment as a songwriter,” according to GRAMMY.com.

‘When Charli and I did the session for “Von Dutch,” she had sent me the track and was like, “I really want you to be on the remix of this song that I have coming out,”’ Addison Rae said.
Addison Rae, who initially gained fame on TikTok, has transitioned into acting and music. While her first single, “Obsessed,” faced criticism, she found success with “Diet Pepsi,” a track Charli XCX encouraged her to release. Addison Rae recently expressed that she always felt destined for fame, which led her to pursue music and acting.
