Her plan was simple: to engineer a casual encounter. “I saw ‌that he went to the bathroom, so I was⁣ like,⁣ oh, I’ll go⁤ to the bathroom and maybe‍ we’ll bump into each other and then we won’t be like texting all the time.”

Though, the reality of her own actions quickly dawned on her.”But then ⁤I got halfway there and I was like, this is insane, and then I went and sat down again,” ‍she concluded with a laugh, admitting to her own self-awareness and eventual​ retreat.

A Night of Accolades and Presentations

This personal anecdote unfolded on a night were Charli XCX was a meaningful presence. She was nominated ‌for several prestigious awards, including Best Solo Act In⁢ The World, Best ​British⁤ Solo Act, and Best Collaboration. Adding to her busy schedule,​ she also ‌took ‌to the ‌stage‍ to present the Songwriter ‍Of The Decade Award to the iconic Robyn, sharing the‍ moment with Christine And The Queens.
