The 45th Chess Olympiad‍ Team Competition concluded ⁣its eighth ​round in Budapest, Hungary, with the Chinese men’s team and the Chinese women’s team ⁤securing⁤ victories and rising‍ to ​fourth ⁢and seventh place respectively.

Men’s⁢ Team Narrowly Wins Against Romania

After⁤ losing to the Indian ⁣team in ⁣the previous‌ round, the Chinese men’s team ⁢faced the Romanian team in this round.⁢ Ding Liren continued to rest, while Wei Yi, Bu Xiangzhi, and⁣ Wang⁢ Yue drew with their opponents. Yu Yangyi scored a ⁤crucial point, securing a 2.5:1.5 win for the Chinese team.
