Chennai Schools Closed Due to Heavy Rain Forecast

Schools in Chennai, Chengalpet, and Kancheepuram districts will be closed on Wednesday due to predicted heavy rain.

The district collectors from Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Cuddalore, Tiruvallur, and Villupuram have also declared a holiday for schools and colleges in their areas on the same day.

In addition, schools and colleges in Puducherry and Karaikal will remain closed on Wednesday.
