Jakarta – PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) is introducing Chery Super Hybrid (CHS) technology as a forerunner for new vehicles in Indonesia. This technology is similar to Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) electrification systems.
According to Zeng Shuo,Country Director of Chery Sales Indonesia,three models utilizing the CHS platform are slated for release in the country. These vehicles can operate in both gasoline and EV modes.
CHS combines Super Hybrid Electric Vehicle (Super HEV) and Electric Vehicle (EV) advantages for optimal energy performance and efficiency. Chery reports this efficiency was demonstrated by achieving world records, covering 2,369 kilometers without refueling or recharging.
“Today is just an introduction of the platform.
The models and specifications for Indonesia will be introduced later. Today, we want to introduce the Chery Super Hybrid System,” Zeng Shuo said in South Jakarta, Monday.
