Our weather data for Montgomery is sourced from the MERRA-2 project from NASA, which utilizes a climate model combined with historical data from weather stations worldwide to estimate conditions for every point on Earth.
To provide accurate historical data, we’ve averaged the data from the past 11 years (2010-2020). For instance, to determine the hourly temperature at 10am, we’ve analyzed the temperature at 10am on every day in January (e.g., January 1, January 2, etc. in 2010, 2011, etc.) and calculated the arithmetic mean. We’ve maintained the data’s natural variability, so our daily temperature line may exhibit some randomness, reflecting the inherent unpredictability of weather patterns.
