China and Ghana Elevate Bilateral Relations to Strategic Partnership</h1
Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where they announced the elevation of bilateral relations to a strategic partnership.
President Xi Jinping highlighted Ghana as the second sub-Saharan country to establish diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China. He expressed China’s willingness to strengthen friendship and mutual trust with Ghana, promote cooperation in various fields, and support common development.
