China Gold Deposit: Rp 1.3 Trillion Discovery
High quality gold ore deposits ‘super giant’ found in China. Gold containing about 1,000 metric tons of precious metals was discovered at the end of 2024.
Worth around 600 billion yuan or the equivalent of Rp
Some experts are not sure of the scale and feasibility of the deposit. But if verified, the discovery will be a big discovery for China.

Quoted from Xinhua, the Hunan Province Geological Bureau announced the detection of 40 gold veins in a depth of 2 kilometers in the northeast of Hunan Regency, Pingjiang.
The cave itself is estimated to contain 300 metric tons of gold, and 3D modeling shows additional reserves may be found to a depth of 3 kilometers.
“Many rock cores that are drilled indicate the presence of gold visible,” said Bureau Prospector Chen Rulin at the time of the discovery.
The core sample shows that each ore ton metric can contain as much as 138 grams of gold, an extraordinary level of quality considering the ore dug from underground mines is considered high quality if it contains more than 8 grams.

China has dominated the world gold market with an estimated reserve exceeding 2,000 tons in early 2024. The mining industry accounted for about 10% of global production.
The announcement of the findings initially contributed to further improvement in the price of gold that had skyrocketed, with the demand for these resources generally increased sharply during the era of global economic uncertainty.
How many more valuable gold ore resources that have not been found all over the world are still unclear. Experts have different opinions about whether we have reached the peak of gold.
Forged in a stars that hugged each other long before the earth was formed, our sparkling planet veins are limited resources that require thousands of years to settle into an easily mined form.
Based on these findings, we may still be far from running out of economic reserves. The core sample taken around the outskirts of the Hunan site implies that the precipitate may extend even further from the initial predictions, making the underground reservoir the actual catch of the dragon.
The discovery at the end of 2024 was the culmination of an important year for the discovery of gold.
In March 2024, a treasure hunter in the UK found what was thought to be the largest gold chunks ever found in the country.
And only a few months later, research by scientists in Australia found a new mechanism that could lead to gold formation, which showed earthquake seismic activity really played a role in the formation of large chunks.
However, that’s not all. In addition to learning more about how gold is formed naturally, scientists also investigate new things that can be done to manipulate these valuable resources.
A study published in April 2024 reported the creation of a new type of two -dimensional gold called ‘Goldene’, which only one layer of atoms, which has several interesting properties that are not visible in the form of three -dimensional gold.
Although gold is an ancient metal that is very valuable throughout human history, obviously there are still many things we need to know about it.
