A Two-Month Standoff

“China wants to make an agreement. He just doesn’t know how to do it,” Trump said Wednesday at the White House. “You know, its one of the things they don’t know – they’re proud people.”
A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Trade stated, “The door to conversations is open, but the dialog must be kept on the basis of mutual respect and equality.”
