This exhibition, a collaboration between the Centre Pompidou and the west Bund Museum Project in Shanghai, showcases the work of 21 emerging Chinese artists born between the late 1970s and early 1990s. The title, featuring the Chinese character “目” (mù), meaning “eye,” invites viewers to see China through the unique lens of this new generation.
