This fight carries personal weight for Chok Preecha. Two months ago, his camp mate Kris Phet PK Saenchai suffered a first-round knockout loss to Tui Linthat. Chok Preecha is entering the arena with a desire for revenge on behalf of his teammate. Despite the age difference, he remains confident, believing his experience and tactical approach will give him the edge.
“Tui Linthat is a boxer with some unusual weapons, particularly his back elbow, which I need to be careful of,” Chok Preecha explained. “But his other techniques aren’t particularly frightening, and I believe I can handle them. I’ve already prepared for those tactics.”
He added, “Kris Phet gave me a lot of advice after his fight. He’s encouraged me to avenge his loss, and that’s exactly what I intend to do.”
Chok Preecha is coming off a recent defeat to Kongchai Chaisai Don Mueang at One Lumpini 108 in May.He has used that experience as motivation to refine his skills. “That loss was a valuable lesson. I’ve been working hard to improve in all areas, developing new strategies to counter different fighting styles. I wont to prove that, even at 33,my body is still strong and durable, and my techniques are sharper than ever.I believe I’m still capable of competing at this level.”
