Chris Brown Co-Defendant Appears in London Court Over Nightclub Attack Allegations
Omololu Omari Akinlolu, a co-defendant in the alleged nightclub attack involving R&B superstar Chris Brown, made an appearance in a London court today. The case, which stems from an incident in Manchester, saw Akinlolu stand alongside Brown, who is also facing charges related to the alleged assault.

brown, who was able to continue with his international tour after being released on conditional bail in May, had to post a ample £5 million security fee. The charges relate to an alleged assault on a man named Mr. Diaw. Previously, Manchester Magistrates’ Court heard that Mr. Diaw was reportedly struck multiple times with a bottle while standing at the bar of the Tape nightclub. He was then allegedly pursued to another area of the venue, were he was subjected to repeated punches and kicks.
Chris Brown was arrested in the early hours of May 15th at Manchester’s Lowry Hotel by detectives from the Metropolitan Police. He had reportedly arrived at Manchester Airport via private jet in planning for his UK tour dates. Following his arrest, Brown was released from HMP Forest Bank in Salford, Greater Manchester, on May 21st.
