Hollywood star Chris Pratt is back in beast mode, ditching the “December Fats” with a rigorous workout regimen.

The 45-year-old actor, known for his roles in blockbuster films like Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy, took to Instagram on January 2nd to share his fitness journey with fans.

“Anyone out there dealing with the December Fats? I know I am! Love handles fueled up and fluffy,” Pratt joked in a video caption, playfully rubbing his stomach.”But that’s what the start of the new year is for!! Started Def Reset Yesterday. Knocked out day two today.”

Pratt revealed he took the entire month of december off from working out, indulging in some well-deserved holiday treats. “It was glorious and I gained a little bit of fluff in this section,” he admitted. “The love handles are all fueled up. Gonna have to work on those.”

But the actor is clearly committed to getting back in shape. His goal? To be in peak physical condition for the filming of the Terminal List season two, which begins in march.

“That gives me about 8 to 10 weeks. So I’m hoping to transform my body,” Pratt declared. “I’m not new to this game.”
