The duo has signed on to write Christmas Forever, an animated feature from Alloy Entertainment based on the beloved children’s book by Elysa Koplovitz Dutton.
This marks alloy’s exciting frist foray into animation, with Dutton, the executive vice president of film at Alloy, also serving as a producer alongside Alloy’s president and chief creative officer, Leslie Morgenstein.
Christmas Forever promises a heartwarming tale of holiday spirit and adventure.On Christmas Eve, a group of ornaments, weary of spending the rest of the year gathering dust in storage, hatch a daring escape plan. Their destination? The North Pole, where Christmas is celebrated every day!
Hoberg and Likkel are no strangers to crafting captivating stories that resonate with audiences of all ages.Their work on Elemental, which grossed nearly $500 million worldwide and garnered prestigious nominations for best Animated Feature at the Oscars, BAFTAs, and Golden Globes, speaks volumes about their talent.
beyond Elemental, the duo has a proven track record of success with popular series like galavant, Downward Dog, and My Name Is Earl. Currently, they have a television deal with ABC Studios.
