AURORA – The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has released its all-state teams for the 2024-25 girls swimming and diving season, as presented by CHSAANow.com and MaxPreps. The selections are based on performances at the state meet, distinguishing them from coach-voted awards presented at the championship site by the Colorado High School Coaches Association (CHSCA).
Class 5A
Cherry Creek High School dominated the Class 5A accolades, with Karin Olmsted earning Coach of the Year honors. Kate McKinnon of Cherry Creek was named Swimmer of the Year, while Arvada West’s Layla Petz secured the Diver of the Year title.
First Team
Arapahoe’s Emerson Andrews earned recognition for her performance in the 200 Yard Freestyle. Ralston Valley’s Lillia Barlow was recognized in the 500 Yard Freestyle. Fairview High School saw two swimmers honored: Lexi Byrn, for her achievements in both the 100 Yard Backstroke and 100 Yard Butterfly, and Marin DeNeen, who excelled in the 200 Yard IM.
Cherokee Trail’s Natalie Daum was acknowledged for her 100 Yard Breaststroke performance. Cherry Creek was well-represented with Elizabeth Earley in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, Jenna Fernstrom in the 100 Yard Freestyle, 200 Yard Medley Relay, 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, and 50 Yard Freestyle, and Sydney Fernstrom in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, 200 Yard Medley Relay, and 50 Yard Freestyle. Hazel Huilman of Boulder was recognized for her skills in both the 100 Yard Breaststroke and 100 Yard Butterfly.
Hope Kayl of Greeley West earned a spot on the First Team for her performance in the 1 mtr Diving event. Fairview’s Callie Marks was recognized in the 500 Yard Freestyle. Kate McKinnon of Cherry Creek was a standout performer, earning recognition in the 100 Yard Freestyle, 200 Yard Freestyle, 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, and 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. Clara Paterson of Cherry Creek contributed to the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay and 200 Yard Medley Relay.
Layla Petz of Arvada West was honored for her 1 mtr Diving. Brighton’s Quinn Sungy was recognized in the 100 Yard Backstroke. Fossil Ridge’s Ella Gaca Thiele earned accolades in both the 100 Yard Freestyle and 50 Yard Freestyle. Regis Jesuit’s Aria Thomas, a freshman, was recognized for her performance in the 200 Yard IM. ThunderRidge’s Annabeth Town excelled in both the 200 Yard Freestyle and 500 Yard Freestyle.
Cherry Creek continued to dominate, with Campbell Walter contributing to the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, and Sydney Wasylenky recognized in the 100 Yard Backstroke, 200 Yard Medley Relay, and 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. Valor Christian’s Ellie Wiesen was honored for her performances in the 100 Yard Butterfly and 200 Yard IM. Madison Williams of Cherry Creek contributed to the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. Pine Creek’s Danika Warren was recognized for her 1 mtr Diving.
Second Team
Arapahoe’s Mckinley Cain was recognized for her contribution to the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. Boulder’s Margaret Chester earned a spot on the Second Team in the 100 Yard Freestyle. Grandview’s Makenna Dyk was recognized in the 50 Yard Freestyle. Valor Christian’s Abby Feldmann contributed to the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
Ralston Valley’s Sophia Ganong was recognized in both the 200 Yard Freestyle and 500 Yard Freestyle. Fairview’s Lucy Glynn contributed to the 200 Yard Medley Relay. Valor Christian’s Kayla Hunt contributed to the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. Pine Creek’s Bria Jones was recognized in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. Northfield’s Morgan Lemmon earned a spot on the Second Team for her 1 mtr Diving.
Fairview’s Rachel Lev-Tov was recognized in both the 100 Yard Butterfly and 200 Yard Freestyle. Arapahoe’s Mckenzie Luft contributed to the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. Valor Christian’s Ann Marie Macaulay contributed to the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. Arapahoe’s Naomi Mancherian contributed to the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. Chatfield’s Lyra Moran was recognized for her 1 mtr Diving.
Smoky Hill’s Mya Noffsinger was recognized in both the 100 Yard Backstroke and 200 Yard IM. Regis Jesuit’s Elsa Osborne earned accolades in the 50 Yard Freestyle. Fairview’s Ava Teunnisen was recognized in the 100 Yard Backstroke and 200 Yard Medley Relay. Cherry Creek’s Karolina Trinquesse was recognized in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. Ralston Valley’s Olivia Williams was recognized in the 500 Yard Freestyle.
Class 4A
Broomfield’s Emily Austin was named Coach of the Year in Class 4A. Lewis-Palmer’s Grace Perry earned Swimmer of the Year honors, and Windsor’s Reagan Annable was named Diver of the Year.

Kent Denver’s Kim Garcia was named Coach of the Year in Class 3A. Elsa Anderson and Camryn Williams, both of Kent Denver, shared Swimmer of the Year honors, while St. Mary’s Academy’s Mia Williams was named Diver of the Year.
