The hospital’s heart/lung machine, donated by the U.S. military, also received a generous boost—both pieces of equipment facilitating better, safer surgeries.

"This is your clinic too now," said Dr. Dragan Milić, director of the Clinic for Cardiovascular and Transplant Surgery, warmly inviting Church representatives to consider the hospital part of their family, and vice versa.
