According to the poll, approximately 55% of executives ⁤believe that the traditional cinema experience will no longer be a sustainable business model within the next 20 years. This⁢ includes those who anticipate the change occurring ⁢in under five years, between‍ five and 10 years, or within 10 to 20 ⁣years. The rise of streaming and changing consumer habits are key factors driving this sentiment.

The survey found‍ differing opinions across various sectors of the film industry. Sales, distribution, and production executives expressed more pessimistic views compared to those in ⁣theatrical exhibition and television. Notably, exhibition executives had the highest percentage predicting a decline in under five years.
