Circle to search Gets a major Upgrade: Real-Time Translation Now Available
Google’s Circle to Search, a powerful tool for identifying anything on your screen, is becoming even more useful with a new translation feature rolling out this week.
Previously, translating text with Circle to Search required repeatedly initiating the process each time you scrolled or the content on your display changed. This could be frustrating when trying to understand longer articles or webpages in a different language. Now, a simple ”scroll and translate” option eliminates that hassle.
To access the improved translation feature, simply long-press the home button (or navigation bar) to activate Circle to Search, select “Translate,” and then tap “scroll and translate.” The tool will then dynamically translate text as you move through the content, providing a seamless reading experience.
The update is initially being released to select Galaxy phones, with wider availability planned for other devices that support Circle to Search in the coming days and weeks. This enhancement significantly improves the practicality of on-screen translation, making it a truly real-time and convenient tool for global communication and information access.
