Citizen Account Program Reaches New Milestone in Aid Allocation

The Citizen Account Program has reached a significant milestone, with a total of 3.4 billion riyals allocated for September aid to beneficiaries whose applications have been completed. This batch has seen 10.8 million beneficiaries and dependents meet the eligibility criteria, marking a substantial increase in support.

Program Statistics and Achievements

According to Abdullah Al-Hajri, Director General of Communications for the Citizen Account Program, the total amount paid to beneficiaries since the program’s inception is 216 billion riyals. This includes 2.6 billion riyals in compensation for previous payments. Notably, 74% of beneficiaries in this batch have received support, with the average support per family reaching 1,476 riyals.

Beneficiary Demographics and Support

The Director General of Communications further explained that 2.1 million household heads, constituting 72% of the total, have benefited from this batch of programs. Additionally, the number of dependents has reached 7.8 million beneficiaries, highlighting the program’s extensive reach and impact.
