ClaimDOC, a healthcare insights company, has a unique feature in its podcast studio: a desk used by NBC during the 2020 Iowa caucuses. The desk, crafted by West End Architectural Salvage in Des Moines, now serves as the centerpiece for ClaimDOC’s mezzanine recording space.

After the caucuses, the desk remained at West End.ClaimDOC later acquired it, using a cherry picker to hoist it into the loft. The NBC logo, complete with peacock feathers, is still visible. Krambeck jokingly anticipates a cease-and-desist letter from NBC, which he plans to display next to a “Meet the Press” sign made from reclaimed wood.
“We show that in our podcast and we’re hoping to get a cease-and-desist letter from NBC,” Krambeck said. “We’ll put it on the wall” next to a “Meet the Press” sign made from reclaimed wood.
