Jeremy Clarkson Bans Customer from Farmer’s Dog Pub⁤ Over Price⁤ Complaint

Jeremy Clarkson, the former Top ‌Gear host, has barred a potential patron from his⁢ Cotswolds-based pub, The farmer’s Dog, following criticism of the establishment’s food prices on social media. The pub, located near burford, Oxfordshire,⁢ opened in August⁣ and it’s launch is featured on the latest season of Clarkson’s prime‌ Video‍ show, Clarkson’s⁢ Farm.

The dispute began when a ‍user on X (formerly⁤ Twitter) suggested that £24 for pie and vegetables at ⁤The Farmer’s Dog was overpriced. Another user commented on the cost of British beef. Clarkson responded by simply banning the first user‌ from ⁣the pub. Clarkson’s farm, Diddly Squat, supplies produce⁣ to the pub.

Clarkson acquired the venue, previously ‍named The Windmill, in June 2024, with the intention of offering locally sourced food and ⁣drinks. Richard Hammond, another of‌ May’s grand Tour colleagues, has joked about ‌also being banned from visiting the pub.
