Arturo Zaldívar Discusses First Phase of Judicial Power Elections
Arturo Zaldívar revealed that 18,447 individuals registered to compete for judicial positions, including judges and magistrates. Among them, 6,101 were women, 10,862 were men, and 106 identified as non-binary.
He noted that in the next 20 days, committees would verify if registrants met requirements. From the 16th to the 31st, evaluation committees would assess candidates through knowledge tests and public interviews. The final list of qualified candidates will be determined by drawing lots, aligning with legal requirements.
