Club Med has announced the first-ever Club Med Padel Cup, a regional tournament series designed to celebrate the growing popularity of padel and commemorate the brand’s 75th anniversary. Padel is gaining traction as a social and competitive sport, fostering connection among enthusiasts.
Singapore Kicks Off the Competition
The tournament began in Singapore with the Club Med Prime Open at prime Padel Dempsey. The event featured 112 teams competing in 169 matches, attracting nearly 1,000 spectators.
Anais Gomar and Timote Loew emerged as champions in Singapore and will represent the nation at the Grand Slam in Bali, scheduled for November 6-9.
Grand Slam Prize and Regional Expansion
The winners of each regional qualifier will compete in Bali for a five-night stay at Club Med Marbella, Spain, and exclusive Babolat gear. Monceau emphasized the company’s dedication to lifestyle sports and experiences, stating that the Padel Cup embodies Club Med’s l’Esprit Libre

Expanding Padel Access Across Resorts
Club Med now offers padel courts at resorts in Bali, Bintan, Phuket, and the Maldives, with plans to expand to additional destinations. This expansion reinforces Club Med’s position as a leader in premium all-inclusive holidays and lifestyle sport tourism.
