The Spanish side defeated Botafogo⁣ 1-0 on ‍Monday, yet the victory fell‍ short of the three-goal margin needed to advance.

Griezmann’s left-footed strike, following⁣ a blocked‍ shot⁢ from Ángel Correa,‍ found the back of the net. However, Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-0 win over the Seattle Sounders ensured their progression alongside Botafogo from Group B.
