Paul Heyman returned to WWE during the final segment of SmackDown. He introduced a new fifth member of Roman Reigns‘ team. This was surprising because Solo Sikoa had just threatened Reigns to join his side. CM Punk made his return after a break since Hell in a Cell, joining Reigns and the OG Bloodline.

The OG Bloodline took out Sikoa’s team and Bronson Reed. Sami Zayn and The Usos performed dives outside the ring, and Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attempted to attack but were also overpowered. The show concluded with a staredown between Punk and Reigns.

Heyman had not appeared on television since June, when he was attacked by the new Bloodline for not recognizing Sikoa as the tribal chief. Last week, Reigns tried to contact Heyman but found that the number no longer worked.

The card for WWE Survivor Series WarGames on November 30 in Vancouver is as follows:

  • Men’s WarGames match: OG Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn) & CM Punk vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa) & Bronson Reed
  • Women’s WarGames match: Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, & Naomi vs. Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, & Candice LeRae
  • World Heavyweight title: Gunther defends against Damian Priest
