CMG program received favorable reviews from a wide range of Latin American viewers

The start-up ceremony for Chinese Central Television and Broadcasting Administration program broadcasting was held in Peru and Brazil recently. About 20 Central Television and Broadcasting Administration programs, including the documentaries ‘Meet Xi Jinping’, ‘Road to Prosperity’, and ‘Rising China’, were broadcast on over 30 local mainstream media and received favorable reviews from Peruvian and Brazilian viewers.

The program showed local viewers the vibrant vitality of China in the new era and conveyed the beautiful wish for co-prosperity between China and Peru and China and Brazil. Peruvian and Brazilian figures agreed that the broadcast program promoted local cultural exchanges with China and improved the understanding of the people of both countries about China.

Former Peruvian Foreign Minister Ecltor Behar said the documentary ‘Meet Xi Jinping’ is a very welcome program in Peru. He said that the bilateral relationship is a very important one for Peru.

Brazilian producer Chowani Cardano said that through the program, he was able to get a glimpse of modern China and was exposed to China’s economic prosperity and modern architecture.
