Coastal Carolina men’s golf opens play on Monday at the second Bryan Bros Collegiate hosted by South Carolina at Solina Golf Club in West Columbia, South Carolina, according to a program release. The Chanticleers enter the two-day, 54-hole tournament as part of a 16-team field competing across 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

As noted in the team report, the stroke-play event showcases a 16-team competitor list comprising Coastal Carolina, Arkansas, Chattanooga, Clemson, College of Charleston, Liberty, LSU, Louisville, Mercer, Michigan, Ole Miss, North Florida, South Carolina, UAB, Winthrop, and Wofford. College of Charleston notes in its preview that the event was originally scheduled for September 29 to 30 and was moved up one day to accommodate inclement weather. Recent Form and Fall Season Results
Coastal Carolina arrives at Solina Golf Club for its third tournament of the fall campaign following a fifth-place tie at the Highlands Invitational in Westchester, Illinois. The Chanticleers posted rounds of 288, 292, and 294 to finish the 54-hole event at 10-over 874. Jack Lee, Drew Sykes, and Lucas Arntsen paced the squad by tying for 15th place individually at 2-over 218, anchored by Lee’s closing 2-under 70 and rounds of 73 from both Sykes and Arntsen.
The program opened the season by winning the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate at Grande Dunes Resort Club by nine strokes with a total of 29-under 835, marking the second-lowest 54-hole score in program history. Lee and Sykes shared individual medalist honors at 12-under 204 during that victory, with Lee claiming the title for the second consecutive year and Sykes firing a final-round 66.
