Revanth Reddy hailed Coca-Cola’s massive investment in a new state-of-the-art factory in Siddipet district’s Banda Thimmapur as a testament to the state’s growing appeal as a global industrial hub.The $251 million greenfield facility, inaugurated by Reddy on Monday, is expected to generate direct and indirect employment for over 400 people.
“This investment underscores Telangana’s commitment to creating a business-friendly habitat that attracts major global players like Coca-Cola,” Reddy said. “Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages’ holistic approach not only creates jobs and uplifts communities but also substantially contributes to the region’s development.”
The 49-acre factory, HCCB’s second in Telangana, boasts seven advanced production lines and represents a significant expansion of the company’s presence in the state. With a total planned investment of Rs 2,091 crore, the current phase has already utilized Rs 1,409 crore.”HCCB’s investment in Banda Thimmapur is a prime example of how industrial growth and sustainability can go hand in hand,” said Telangana Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu. “This greenfield factory is a major addition to Telangana’s industrial landscape, ensuring sustainable growth and prosperity for the region.”
