National Celebrations in Coinco Community

Friday, September 6, marked the beginning of the national celebrations in the Coinco community, with a series of events that highlighted the Chilean identity and spirit in local schools and colleges.

Chileness Day at Ysgol Huallilén

The day started with “Chileness Day” at Ysgol Huallilén, where a lively celebration was held with different thematic stations representing different regions of the country. The activity, which included the participation of the whole school community, offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Chilenazo at Ysgol El Rulo

Subsequently, the “Chilenazo” at Ysgol El Rulo was a huge success, thanks to a sunny day that illuminated the event. With green hills as a backdrop, the cueca group, San Nicodemo de Coinco, enlivened the day with wild and rural cuecas, inviting the public to join the dance in a family and festive atmosphere.

Copequén School Gala

The day ended with the “Copequén School Gala”, which brought together the entire school community and parents in a display of traditional dances. The cooperation of the parents and the enthusiasm of the students made this gala a memorable event.

Municipal High School Luis Gregorio Valenzuela Lavín Celebrations

On Saturday, September 7, the Municipal High School Luis Gregorio Valenzuela Lavín continued the celebrations, offering an excellent show to the people of Coincano and the surrounding area.

In each event, the mayor, the Municipal Council, and the candidates for the next authorities were present, who joined the festival. “We thank the directors of the educational institutions for their commitment to promoting our roots and the whole community for their participation and warmth. Long live Chile, long live Coinco!”, they state from the municipality.
