Coleen Rooney discussed her marriage to Wayne Rooney during an episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. She stated that despite past challenges, they are “happy now.”

Wayne Rooney faced public scrutiny due to past mistakes. In 2017, he was caught driving under the influence and admitted to being nearly three times over the legal limit. He completed 100 hours of community service following this incident. Earlier, in 2004, he acknowledged visiting massage parlors and engaging with prostitutes when he was younger.

Coleen remarked that public opinion often does not forgive Wayne for his past actions. She explained that love remained in their relationship despite the public’s judgment. She emphasized that their bond is strong, and they view themselves as a team.

The couple met in school and began dating at age 16. Coleen noted that Wayne struggled with fame, stating, “If he could’ve just played football and had none of the fame, he would’ve been happier.”
