Coleen shared the meaning behind the name Cassius. When spelled with a ‘K’, it means “blackbird.” With a ‘C,’ it signifies “clever.” She chose Cassius’ middle name, Mac, in honor of her maiden name, McLoughlin. Initially, her friends nicknamed her “Coleen Mac.” This choice, along with her middle name Mary, gave Cass the initials CMR, which Coleen described as “clever son of Rooney.”

Coleen mentioned that she would have liked a daughter. She said she went through two miscarriages, one before having any children and the second before having Kit and Cass. She reflected on her experiences, saying that while it was a painful experience, knowing she could conceive provided some comfort.

You mentioned wishing for a daughter ‍as well. how do you cope with that desire alongside ⁢the heartbreak of miscarriages?

It’s⁣ tough to navigate those ⁤feelings. I always wanted a daughter, ⁤and the miscarriages were hard. But I have my boys, and they bring so much joy. Every child is a blessing, and I cherish my role as a mother, despite my losses.

You also touched on the impact⁤ of such experiences on⁤ relationships, particularly with Wayne.how​ did​ you both​ support each other through this?

It’s essential to remember that‌ men often don’t recieve the same level of support during these times. wayne ​has been my rock, and we’ve been open about our feelings. We married ‌young and⁤ faced challenges, including public scrutiny. Yet, we’ve grown closer and are committed to being a team. It hasn’t always been easy,but we’re happy now.

Your late sister Rosie is also ⁣a meaningful part of your story.How do you keep her memory alive?

Rosie is ⁣always in my heart. the anniversary of her ‍passing is approaching, and ⁣it brings back many memories. ‌She would be ‌26 now, and I often reflect on the impact she had on my life. I want my children to remember their aunt ⁤and understand her story.

How has your family reacted to your journey on the⁣ show?

They’ve been incredibly supportive.⁣ I know my parents ⁢and younger sons traveled to australia to see me, ⁢which means⁤ the world to me. They are proud of my journey and can’t wait for my return. Family is everything, and staying strong for them is my ‌priority.

Lastly, what would you say to those watching your ‌journey unfold?

Life is full of ups and downs, but⁣ it’s how we navigate those challenges that⁢ define us.I hope⁢ my story‍ resonates‍ with others and encourages them to cherish their loved ones and remain strong through the hardships.

In the jungle, Coleen remained strong, often for her family. Nevertheless, she expressed that it’s challenging to lose someone close. Her campmate Barry McGuigan shared his own sorrow over losing his daughter to cancer, leading to a heartfelt exchange.

Coleen also discussed her marriage to Wayne. They married young and faced numerous public challenges, including Wayne’s infidelities. Coleen explained they are committed to each other, stating, “It has been difficult, but we’re happy now… we’re a team.”

As the show progresses, Coleen’s family, including her parents and younger sons, travel to Australia to see her. They expressed pride in her journey and excitement for her return.
