Colo Colo Dominates 2024, Claiming championships Across All Levels
Santiago, Chile – Colo Colo capped off a historic 2024 with another thrilling victory, securing the Clausura Juvenil (Sub 19) title in dramatic fashion. The women’s team edged out rivals Universidad de chile 4-3 on Sunday at the Complejo Quilín, with Anaís Álvarez netting the winning penalty in the 90+6th minute.
This victory marked the second time in a week that Colo colo’s women’s teams triumphed over Universidad de Chile. Just seven days prior, the senior squad clinched the Primera División title against their archrivals at the Bicentenario de La Florida. Adding to the celebrations, Colo Colo’s Sub 16 team secured the Clausura tournament title on Saturday, defeating Universidad Católica.
