The Eagles will now face the winner of the series between the Ontario Reign and the Coachella Valley Firebirds. This marks the third time in five years that Colorado has reached the Pacific Division finals.
The game began with Henderson taking an early lead at the 2:21 mark of the first period. Forward Jackson Hallum scored after settling a pass at the Eagles blueline and cutting through the slot to put the Silver Knights up 1-0.
Colorado responded with 4:41 remaining in the opening frame. Forward Gavin Brindley scored his first professional playoff goal by stuffing home a rebound at the side of the crease during the game’s first power play, tying the score at 1-1.
Henderson regained the lead just 51 seconds later. Forward Ben Hemmerling deflected a shot into the net while making contact with Eagles goaltender Trent Miner in the crease, a play described as controversial, to make the score 2-1.
Colorado leveled the game again with 1:04 left in the first period. Tristen Nielsen tipped a shot from the point past goalie Carl Lindbom to tie the game at 2-2. The goal was Nielsen’s fourth of the postseason, leading the team.
Second Period Dominance
The momentum shifted decisively in the second period, where the Eagles outshot the Silver Knights 15-2. Colorado took the lead for good at the 6:36 mark when forward Chase Bradley scored on a wrister on the rush from the left-wing circle.

Bradley’s goal was his first of the postseason. The Eagles’ defensive pressure intensified throughout the remainder of the game, holding Henderson to only nine shots on goal over the final 40 minutes of play.
Closing the Series
Colorado extended its lead early in the third period. At the 4:20 mark, Alex Barré-Boulet scored on a power play to increase the lead to 4-2.
The Eagles sealed the victory and the series with two empty-net goals. Keaton Middleton and Tristen Nielsen both scored to bring the final score to 6-2. The second goal of the night for Nielsen marked his second consecutive two-goal game.
Goaltender Trent Miner finished the game with 18 saves on 20 shots, improving his postseason record to 5-1. For Henderson, Carl Lindbom stopped 32 of 36 shots.
Colorado’s special teams were perfect during the contest, finishing 2-for-2 on the power play and 1-for-1 on the penalty kill.
