Measuring Quality and Empowering Families
Colorado utilizes the Colorado Shines rating system to assess the quality of participating early childhood programs. While participation in the rating system is not mandatory, families can use these ratings, along with other factors, to make informed decisions about their child’s care. The new funding and initiatives represent a significant step forward for Colorado’s early childhood education system.
