Running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at 3700 Ponderosa St., the free public event is organized by Columbia Parks and Recreation. Visitors can explore multicultural performances across two stages, a handmade craft show, and demonstrations of traditional trades. One example of this effort includes traditional teepees, which organizers highlight to provide a complete view of different cultures during the historical period, as noted by Parks.

Scheduled Performances and Family Attractions

Entertainment lineups for the weekend feature a wide variety of global and regional acts. Performers scheduled to appear include Irish dancers, Chinese dancers, ragtime musicians, flamenco performers, and bluegrass acts, alongside storytellers and magicians, according to community announcements. For families, the festival offers the Fun for Young’uns area, which includes children’s crafts, games, and hayrides. Food trucks will also operate throughout the grounds during both days of the event. Visitors looking to explore local history further can take advantage of free admission to the Boone County History & Culture Center, located adjacent to the park at 3801 Ponderosa St., to view its museum, art gallery, and featured exhibits. Additionally, attendees will have access to three historic structures located within the Village at Boone Junction inside Nifong Park.
