The Columbus Crew will host Latino Celebration Night on Sunday, Sept. 27, at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field during their match against Inter Miami CF, honoring the club’s Hispanic and Latino fans, players, and local community members. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast on Apple TV and Alt 105.7 FM, with English-language streaming available via the iHeartRadio app. Spanish-language broadcasts will air on La Mega 103.1 FM, 107.1 FM, and through the La Mega app.
Matchday Culture and Sherwin-Williams Gear Donation Drive
Matchday activities will highlight individuals, organizations, and cultural moments that shape Central Ohio. As part of the festivities, the Columbus Crew and Sherwin-Williams are teaming up to support Alianza 614 through a gear donation drive. Fans attending the match can drop off new and gently used soccer equipment at a special collection box located at the Youth Activity Zone on Nationwide Boulevard from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The collection effort extends throughout Columbus, with drop-off boxes placed at participating locations through Oct. 15. Alianza 614 operates as a Columbus-based organization focused on strengthening the Latino community and supporting West Side neighbors. The group provides local resources, runs community programs, and amplifies the voices of residents in need while promoting social cohesion.
Community Clinic and Hispanic Heritage Month Events
Sunday’s match follows a series of events hosted earlier in the week by the Crew and Sherwin-Williams in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month. The organizations welcomed Olimpia USA to Historic Crew Stadium for a special practice session and a tour of the OhioHealth Performance Center. Crew midfielder Andre Gomes made a special appearance during the clinic to meet participants. Attendees also received Latino-inspired merchandise and giveaways provided by the Crew and Sherwin-Williams, continuing the club’s ongoing outreach across the region.
