Comcast Expands Broadband Network in Rural Illinois, Bridging Digital Divide
STERLING, IL – Comcast announced today the expansion of its high-speed internet network north of Sterling, Illinois, bringing much-needed connectivity to rural Whiteside County. This project,made possible through a collaboration with the illinois Broadband Grant Program,aims to bridge the digital divide and provide essential services to residents and businesses.

Comcast has invested heavily in Illinois,pouring over $1.4 billion into its network infrastructure over the past three years.This commitment has resulted in faster internet speeds and robust Wi-Fi coverage throughout the state.
