Commons Clinic Raises $26M for Preventative Care Program

Commons Clinic, a specialty care provider, has secured $26 million in Series B funding, bringing its total funding
to over $60 million. RA Capital led the round, with participation from Floating Point, SteelSky Ventures, Time
BioVentures, Courtside ventures, and Commons Clinic physicians.
The funding will support the launch of wholebody by Commons Clinic, a multi-specialty suite integrating the
association’s advanced preventative care offerings. This new preventative care program aims to reinvent specialty care through early detection, tailored
prevention, and accountable intervention.
The Wholebody program features a team of specialists focused on early detection and prevention. It includes five
specialty tracks utilizing advanced diagnostics to evaluate health indicators such as cardiometabolic wellness,
musculoskeletal conditions, women’s health, weight management, hormonal balance, gastrointestinal health, chronic
pain, and preventive oncology. Patients receive up to three specialty consults and priority placement in a
network of primary care partners.
Dr. Jenica Ortega,a board-certified cardiologist,will lead the Wholebody program,focusing on cardiac,
metabolic,bariatric,and women’s health service lines.Brad Hively, former CEO of The Oncology Institute, has
joined Commons’ board to advise on its specialty value-based care strategy and expansion.
