Compass Group’s Pierre-Louis Ledent runs Paris Marathon for Allied Services

Pierre-Louis Ledent of Compass Group and Crothall Healthcare participated in the 2025 Schneider Electric Paris Marathon, representing his organizations while supporting Team Allied Services. Ledent, site director at the National Institute of Sport, Expertise, and Performance (INSEP), leveraged his athletic background in competitive fencing, rugby, and long-distance running to benefit the cause.
Team Allied Services supports individuals with disabilities, life-changing injuries, and chronic illnesses. Ledent’s participation aimed to raise awareness and funds for specialized rehabilitation services. He prepared for the race with a specialized training plan,running three to four times a week,and consulting with a marathon veteran.
The Paris Marathon, a 26.2-mile course, took runners past landmarks such as the Champs-Élysées, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the eiffel Tower. Ledent completed the marathon in 3 hours and 27 minutes,improving his previous time despite the challenging course.
“Running for a cause gives a much deeper meaning to performance,” pierre-Louis said. “As someone living with a chronic illness, I was notably touched by Allied Services’ commitment.”
Ledent emphasized the race’s broader impact. He noted that Allied services raised over $3,000 through the event,highlighting the collective commitment driving the effort. He also expressed gratitude for the support he received,particularly in the later stages of the race.
