Huang Shaoting’s Involvement in Assistant Fee Scandal
Kuomintang Kaohsiung City Councilor Huang Shaoting was involved in the over-reporting of assistant expenses, the prosecutor brought back 17 people, including Huang Shaoting’s parents, but Huang Shaoting has not been arrested yet.
According to the investigation, Huang Shaoting took a flight from Kaohsiung Xiaogang Airport to Xiamen, China at around 7am yesterday. Whether it was a pre-planned travel itinerary or over the counter shopping remains to be investigated.
Huang also told the case staff through the Xiaoting channel that if Qiao arrives at the airport in the near future, he will return to Taiwan as soon as possible to explain the case.
However, Huang Xiaoting’s overseas departure coincided with the eve of the investigation, and his neighbors at the service office also testified that they saw him hurriedly pick up his suitcase and leave early in the morning.
Investigators do not rule out that news of the search was leaked, and they do not rule out the possibility that they could issue a wanted warrant if Huang Xiaoting fails to reach the case.

Taiwan’s Kaohsiung District Prosecutor’s Office responded in a low-key manner to relevant information and could not confirm or elaborate further.
