Controversial Influencer’s Platform Hacked
Andrew Tate’s platform, The Real World, has been hacked. The breach exposed data, including private chat messages, of hundreds of thousands of members. This incident includes the personal information of at least 600 Dutch users, as confirmed by RTL Nieuws.
A group of hackers, identifying as “hacktivists,” accessed The Real World, which charges members a fee of $50 per month. The platform promises insights into entrepreneurship and financial freedom. However, it has also been criticized for its negative views on women, feminism, and the LGBTQ+ community.

The hackers published data from the breach, which includes usernames, email addresses, and both public and private chats. The leak of email addresses is particularly serious. Many users prefer anonymity when supporting Tate due to his controversial reputation.
At least 600 Dutch members are affected, identified by their .nl email addresses. The actual number may be higher as users often use other email services like Gmail and Outlook. The list contains some notable email addresses associated with educational institutions and large companies.
Chat Content
In leaked chat messages, women are derogatorily referred to, and young men share relationship advice focused on financial gain rather than emotional connections. The chat rooms were flooded with emojis symbolizing gender and LGBTQ+ pride, along with an AI-generated image of Tate draped in a rainbow flag. The hackers labeled the platform as “ridiculously unsafe.”
Target Audience
Tate promotes a misogynistic ideology, claiming women are inherently lazy and not capable of independence. He dismisses mental health issues as excuses for personal failures. His primary audience consists of young males whom he attracts through social media, particularly TikTok. He makes millions of dollars monthly from subscriptions to his platform.
Legal Issues
In late December, Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Bucharest, Romania. They face serious allegations including human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal group to exploit women. The brothers also face accusations of sexual abuse in the UK. They deny all accusations.
