Speaking on “The Ariel Helwani Show,” Black said she had sensed her WWE departure was coming for months. The official word came shortly after learning about another wrestler’s release. WWE cited “a company decision” as the reason. Black sees this as a chance to explore opportunities she couldn’t pursue during her four years wiht WWE.
With her 30-day non-compete clause expired, Black has quickly booked several independent wrestling dates. Her first match is scheduled for June 14 with Black Label Pro, followed by appearances across the U.S. and in Canada. Black said she wanted to get back to work immediately.
Addressing criticism of her OnlyFans account, Black defended her decision. She stated that it’s her choice what she does with her body and how she earns money. She added that people are upset because they now have to pay for content they previously saw for free on instagram.
“All I gotta say, like, it’s ridiculous, because it’s just crazy. It’s 2025, and people are still trying to tell women what they can do with their bodies… I’ve never been concerned with what other people are doing with their body and how they’re making their money.”
