Public Appeal for Information on Missing Man Patrick ‘Patsy’ O’Sullivan
Gardaí are asking for the public’s help to find Patrick ‘Patsy’ O’Sullivan, a Cork man missing since 1992. Patsy was last seen by his family in Mallow after visiting from County Kerry.
On RTÉ’s Crimecall, Patsy’s brothers, Eugene and Jerry O’Sullivan, will share their family’s experience of searching for him for over 30 years. Eugene described the pain of not hearing from Patsy as “heartbreaking.”
At the time of his disappearance, Patsy was 35 years old, living in Killarney, and working in restaurants. His family searched in Killarney, Cork, and Waterford but never found him. Jerry noted that Patsy “just stopped coming home.”
Patsy was the middle child of seven and grew up in Lombardstown, near Mallow. His brothers remembered him as having a “heart of gold.” Since 2015, Garda PJ Roche has managed his missing person’s case. He hopes anyone who knew Patsy will come forward with information.
Despite multiple checks with various organizations and DNA database inquiries, there has been no sign of Patsy since 1992. The family is now appealing for information on Crimecall.
At the time he went missing, Patsy was approximately 5’10”, of slim build, with fair/brown hair and green eyes. He would now be 67 years old.
