Race Details and Results
The seven-furlong contest was held on a turf surface with soft to heavy going, featuring a field of 13 runners. A total of €13,000 in prize money was added to the event, with the winner, Pacioli, earning €7,800. The second-place finisher, Ocean Echo, took home €2,600, while the third-place finisher, Kilmac Air, received €1,300.

Trained by Kevin Coleman and ridden by Colin Keane, Pacioli entered the race at 6/1 odds. Keane positioned the horse in the mid-division before it progressed into third place at the halfway mark. In the closing stages, Pacioli was pushed along to take second place over two furlongs from the finish and eventually moved into the lead over one furlong out. Despite running green over the final 200 yards, the horse kept on well to secure the win.

Ocean Echo, trained by M Fahey and ridden by Paddy Harnett, finished in second place at 20/1. After tracking the leaders and holding second place at the halfway mark, Ocean Echo was pushed along to take the lead over two furlongs out. However, the horse was headed over one furlong from the finish and could only maintain its pace to finish second.
The race saw several other tactical movements among the field. Kula Bula Boyo, trained by K P Cotter and ridden by Leigh Roche, took an early lead but was eventually headed over two furlongs out and weakened inside the final furlong. Mountain Memory, trained by A Slattery and ridden by Andrew Slattery, moved from the rear of the field into sixth place at the halfway mark and later progressed to fifth place over two furlongs out, though it was unable to challenge the leaders in the final stages.
The 9/4 favorite, Kilmac Air, finished in third place. The winning time for the race was recorded at 1m 31.90s.
