Betsy Swain is facing new threats after the recent attack on Carla Connor at the factory. Betsy has been pressured by Logan and Matty Radcliffe, brothers of Mason Radcliffe. They corner her in an episode as they try to intimidate her.

To help Mason, who she hopes can break free from his brothers, Betsy agrees to let Logan and Matty steal from Carla’s factory in exchange for Mason’s safety.

As the story unfolds, Monday’s episode shows Betsy making sure she still has her job, despite her tense relationship with Carla, who is involved with Betsy’s mother, Lisa. Carla confirms Betsy’s employment, allowing her to steal keys for the heist.

Betsy informs Logan and Matty that everything is ready, but complications arise when Carla returns to work. Betsy’s phone goes off, and Carla searches the room. Luckily, Carla is soon called away by Lisa, giving Betsy a chance to let in the brothers.

However, they don’t move quickly enough. When a distraught Carla enters, Logan, in a panic, strikes her on the head, leaving her unconscious. Betsy later meets with Mason, explaining the situation. He warns her that it won’t end well with Logan and Matty.

After witnessing Carla being treated for her injuries, Betsy receives a threatening text from the brothers. They intimidate her into silence regarding Carla’s attack. In a heart-stopping moment, Betsy later finds Carla motionless and learns she has a brain bleed after being rushed to the hospital.
