Country singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde is preparing to release her fifth studio album, Wild, on May 8, 2026. The upcoming project, released through Warner Music Nashville, marks a sonic shift for the artist as she leans into her individuality and departs from traditional country music molds.

The album was recorded live with McBryde’s touring band, Deadhorse, and features the return of producer John Osborne. The pair previously collaborated on her 2022 project, Lindeville.

The creative direction of Wild is closely tied to McBryde’s personal journey with sobriety and mental health. In a March 2026 appearance on The BobbyCast, McBryde discussed the critical moments when her struggle with alcohol reached a breaking point, noting that her songwriting eventually forced her to admit she was not okay.

Through a dedicated website, fans can attempt to unlock song titles and track previews using keys that were mailed to supporters globally. The site currently tracks the unlocking of 11 different patches, each corresponding to a song on the album.
