Hove, England – Warwickshire and Sussex settled for‌ a draw in their Rothesay County Championship match after rain disrupted the final ​day. Warwickshire,​ needing⁣ to batten down the hatches, ended the day ‌at 260-4, leading by 142 runs when the ​match⁢ concluded.

Tom ‌Latham spearheaded Warwickshire’s effort with 69 runs. Alex ‍Davies, the⁣ skipper,⁢ contributed ⁢58, and Sam Hain remained unbeaten with 53. The ‌weather, however, played ‌a significant role, with 18​ overs lost before lunch⁢ due ​to rain and poor light.

Sussex ‍relied heavily on spin bowling. Ollie Robinson‌ even bowled two overs of off-breaks, supporting⁢ Jack⁤ Carson and james Coles. Coles bowled a marathon 53.3 overs. ‍Despite the turning pitch, Warwickshire’s batters ⁣displayed diligence.
