However, the court determined that one defendant was not involved in the death of the homeowner, who died on July 9th, and adjusted the sentencing accordingly.
Despite the multiple charges, the court consolidated the penalties into a single 25-year prison sentence for both defendants. They are also jointly responsible for paying 225,000 euros in compensation to the victims’ family for the damages caused.
