Burundi’s President Ndayishimiye Calls for Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection

The President expressed his support ‍for ⁣leaders‍ who inspire confidence and possess the necessary skills ​to enlighten their fellow citizens, rather than those who rely on‍ political connections.

Effective Governance and Project Implementation

President Ndayishimiye highlighted the importance of effective‍ governance, stating that each Ministry​ will be responsible for‌ designing, monitoring, and evaluating projects, which⁤ will then be implemented by the states.
