Pedri was angry at Xavi’s style
He revealed in a report Football Spain website Pedri believes that Xavi has not dealt with him ideally regarding his injury file, which kept him out of much of last season.
In this context, renowned journalist Santi Ovalle emphasized that the point from which the conflict between the two men grew was Pedri’s feeling that his coach was rushing to include him in matches without completing his treatment and rehabilitation program.
The report indicated that Pedri was previously of the opinion that Xavi had told management that he was a dispensable player, and that he would welcome the idea of selling him if the club received a financially suitable offer.
Xavi was forced to discuss with Pedri that the idea was not real and he tightened his presence in the corridors of the Catalan club.
